The Presbyterian Ladies college STRATHERNE was at 131 Power Street, Hawthorn, Melbourne.

In 1955, Hawthorn did NOT have a "Hover street", so I agree that Power street could fit the bill.

1955 Sands & McDougall directory lists Stratherne Convalescent Home at 179 Power St, Hawthorn as mentioned by cupoflife. Stratherne Presbyterian school was at 131 Power St.

From 1935 but interesting article all the same!
