Anno predicto = in the aforesaid year, i.e. whichever year was mentioned previously.

Many thanks.

The record in question is clearly and fully dated, viz 9 Nov 1715, so the Latin tag seems somewhat superfluous, or am I missing something?

I must I thought it was something to do with also stating the age of the deceased in that year. Does that fit?

If the person died in November, one would expect the body to be buried the same year.
TY, are you thinking of "aetas", aged ?

Are you looking at the original record, or a transcript?

If you're just looking at a transcript, it’s possible that in the original register the year 1715 was written higher up the page (or on a previous page), with 9 Nov Anno pred. (= 'in the aforesaid year') written for the individual burial entry. The transcriber would probably have extrapolated the year from the top of the page and recorded it alongside the day and month in their transcript.

But if you're looking at the original register, can you say how the other burial entries are styled? If you can post a snippet of the image it might help.

Sorry, just a transcript.

In that case, I think my first paragraph (reply #6 above) is the most likely explanation.
