Hi again, I really cannot see how we can progress this, Sarah if 1851 is correct could still be a Servant in Norfolk Street by marriage her parents living elsewhere?
A possible father is a Boot Dealer by 1861and a 5 year old Sarah is with the family in 1841?
When and at what age did Sarah die?

Sarah died in Surrey Hills  Melbourne Victoria Australia 1912 her husband died 1897

they are buried At Boroondara Cemetery Kew, Melbourne Victoria Australia

Sarah is also buried their.  I visited the grave site many years ago, just dirt no head stone.

Yes I have all this. the question is who is Sarah's parents.  I am going to explore with what has been given so far.  I know the father but not the mother, this is what I am struggling with.

aged about 75 years

So born 1836/7 the same year/s of birth as the Sarah located as aged 5 with parents and  aged 15 as a Servant, and a father who was a Boot Dealer by 1861?
If you can locate another Sarah in 1851 b c 1836/7 Liverpool or living in Liverpool that fits, then I would be pleased to be corrected!

Bride's Father: Thomas Davies, Boot Dealer

In 1861 I think this is the family - still living at Wright St Liverpool

In both of these entries, I read the occupation as 'Boot Maker' which is consistent with the shoe maker / cordwainer in 1841 and 1851.  As this is a look-up board I can't attach the evidence, but if this were my family I'd be happy that this is the same Thomas throughout.
