Findmypast behaving badly
« on: Thursday 04 July 19 14:22 BST (UK) »
Hi All,
Anybody else having problems using Findmypast?  The last few days their website has been behaving very badly for me (keeps spinning without ever moving from search page to actual results), and I was wondering if my life is long enough to make a phone call, or if you'all have better suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
FionaOhdear

Very irritating!  And probably caused by upgrades 'for our benefit'!  Can't seem to get rid of the banner about their new family tree features either.
- sigh -

Nanny - have you clicked through to look at their new DNA tree features recently?
I'm trying to work out if that banner is causing the problem. FionaO

Not looked at the DNA tree features;  I have just a handful of people in a tree for experimental reasons.

Thanks Nanny. I've just gone through various buttons relating to the new DNA features and now FindMyPast seems to be back to it's normal self.  May, or may not be corrected but I'm just happy for it to be working again.
p.s. I only have a small tree on FindMyPast for the same reasons

I've had no problems at all. In fact it was quicker than usual, both yesterday and this morning.  I was hammering it as I was checking up on info on some new Ancestry DNA matches's  trees.

I've just checked and it's still fine.
