Marriages at the tail end of the district(s) are typically Register office or registrar attended (Roman Catholic as an instance). Purchase may be the simplest option

Not the marriage but the Eddowes's Journal of 3 March 1886 mentions Edward Lewis & Miss M E Smith resigning their School posts which they had held since 1875

Unfortunately ShropshireBMD doesn't have the marriage location detailed either.

Thank you all so much.  The snippet about resigning from their posts as schoolteachers is fascinating - Mary's brother (my great grandfather) was the schoolmaster at Quatt School.  Edward went onto to be a farmer.

The newspaper snippet was very small but it appears they were both working at Quatt school
