Christopher Hird circa 1620 - 1680
« on: Sunday 07 July 19 21:46 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have been tracing the Hird Family tree back and I seem to have come to a brick wall. The only potential parent I have found so far is a Christopher Hird 1995 Keighley, I have eliminated him for the time being as I think Keighley to Grinton in the early 1600's would be hard and I have checked my DNA against a relative.

Christopher Hird
Birth 1620 Grinton Parish, North Yorkshire, England
Death 1680 Grinton Parish, North Yorkshire, England

If  I am right with the above then he was the father to John Hird 1648 - 1703 Harkerside, Grinton, Yorkshire, England.
I noticed that  Bridgebabe in 2014 mentioned the John Hird in a response to another question and I wonder if she has anymore information
