I'm looking for the DOB & DOD of Frederick Estlin Kearney.

Would also like to now when he arrived in Australia.

Can't find a baptism which might have given his date of birth you would need to obtain his birth certificate  - see birth reg. details posted reply 2

Date of death 1934 South Africa - see link reply 6 from family search

I cannot find when he arrived in Australia  ??? it would be sometime between 1881  and his 1887 Australia

The death notice for deceased estates in South Africa as shown on FamilySearch gives this information:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS75-83ZR-W?i=1228&cc=2573604

Frederick Estlin KEARNEY
Residence at birth: Kingsdown St, Tranmere, Chester, England
Parents: John Joseph Barton Kearney (dec'd); Clara Victoria Kearney, formerly Estlin, dec'd
Age at death: 68 years, 17 days
Occupation: fitter, turner
Ordinary place of residence: 281 Davenport Rd, Durban
Married to Harriet Elizabeth Kearney, at Christ Church Addington, Durban
Died at Addington Hospital, Durban
Children: Eric Fred. Kearney Major
Informant: H E Kearney (wife)

I find it interesting that his wife knew enough about his parents to know their full names and the address given for his birth.  Of course she may have had access to other certificates.  Interesting to know if she knew of his Australian wife and children.

FamilySearch has a marriage for the son Eric in 1947, giving his age then as 34, thus born abt 1913.

Not sure about this 1908 Probate of
Ellen Kearney father died Mother Ellen Thomas, Brunswick Australia
spouse Frederick Estlin Kearney
Date & place of last marriage 22nd Nov 1887 Melbourne Victoria Australia
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QLR2-BZX1

I'm looking for the DOB & DOD of Frederick Estlin Kearney. I know he married Ada Louisa Shillinghlaw on 23 Nov 1887 Victoria and his father was given as J.J.B. Kearney in the marriage notice posted in The Age Newspaper 28 Nov 1887. Would also like to now when he arrived in Australia. All help is appreciated.

The Victoria Police Gazette, July 1906:

Frederick Estlin KEARNEY, is charged, on warrant, with deserting his wife Ada Louisa Kearney, 342 Albert Rd, South Melbourne, at Melbourne on the 4th inst.  Description: Engineer, 40 years pf age. 5 feet four or five inches high, stout build, dark complexion, grey sideboards and moustache, grey hair, boil mark on left side of cheek, wore a brown coat and vest, grey trousers, and a grey motor cap. Supposed to be in Albert Park.
O.4277. 5th July 1906.

Judith

Just putting all this together, I think He ran offwith Ellen THOMAS and used the marriage details from his marrriage to Ada when completeing the death certificate information in Durban for Ellen when she died in 1908.

He later married again to Elizabeth PEARCE
