This could be the marriage of Henry Collins snr -

Henry Collins
Marriage - 27 Jul 1872, St Thomas, Stepney, Tower Hamlets
Father - John Collins
Spouse - Grace Sarah Tate
Spouse's father - John Thomas Tate.

As the 1881 posted with Henry b. 876 living with his Tate grandparents I believe the above marriage is Henry Collins jnr's parents.

Sarah died in 1877 so that would account for Henry and his sister living with their grandparents in 1881.

Wow so much information on the family site which I have now joined thank you for that Jen 😁.
I have came across the Tate name before. I知 still also stuck on Elizabeth Matilda Collins (Sullivan)
I have her birth in 1866 Stepney London but I知 now finding dates for 1865🤔.

Also the Henry Collins birth 1887 but on that link it said 1876 so I知 must say I知 well confused,
I知 starting to think one has to have an IQ of over 110 to be able to search relatives history 😬 and find out where you came from. But thank you all i have a lot to learn. I think it gets harder the farther back you go .

Not sure why you have Elizabeth's birth year of 1865/1866 as the 1911 from Family Search has her birth year as c.1880.

The marriage of Henry to Elizabeth records her father as Patrick. This could be her baptism (the names have been transposed) -

Matilda Elizabeth Sullivan
Born 15 May 1879
Baptism - 8 Jun 1879, St James the Great, Tower Hamlets
Father - Patrick Sullivan
Mother - Matilda Elizabeth Sullivan

I'm sure once you find all the sites available to help you with family research and learn what information is available it will become a lot easier. Just be aware of any hints that are available on Anc***ry and FindMyPast, they are not always correct and can lead you to the incorrect person/line.

There are many people on this site that can help you, so don't hesitate to ask.

Good luck with your research, family history is a fascinating topic. :)
