Submitted Tree has him born 11 November 1864
County Dairy, Ireland (sic)

1871 Passenger List on F/S has him age 7 born Ireland.

Robert was born in January 1864:

When they emigrated he would have just turned 7 but his age is recorded as 5, and William as 7.  As they married in 1860 it is likely that you are correct and he was born closer to 1862.

Parents married in 1860 Draperstown, which is probably Margaret's home place.

You would need to check out a few parishes in the area.
You can't fish on a empty stomach so give the man one or two records so he knows how good it tastes.
