I am looking for Louisa Holt, I am not sure if the family details are right.
Louisa Holt was born 01/08/1852 in Swaffham Norfolk, to William Holt and Mary Holt (nee Williamson)


Any help with resolving this would be appreciated

In 1861 she is still in Swaffham, by 1871 she is in London, she appears in London again in 1881.
The family history says she married in 1889 to a Louis Bazot, There is no evidence of Louis Birth or Death.
In 1901 a Louisa Holt is showing as a visitor in Lewisham
The Next bit of family story is that her dad had moved from Swaffham and died in Wandsworth area, his body was returned to Swaffham for burial.

You need to look on the 1939 register for Louisa Bazot.  I think it is your Louisa but look at birthdate.  We are not allowed to post certain info from the 1939 register

There is a death for a Louisa Bazot in Kent but birth year is 1868.  The 1939 has no other entry for that name so whoever reported the death may not have had the correct age for her

She was buried 4.1.1940 at Hawkinge cemetary Kent.  Plot JJ Section A grave number 689.  Address shown as 40 Linden Crescent Folkestone

Just when I thought it was solved someone has sent me a copy of the Marriage certificate, the date of the marriage was 26 09 1889, Royal_Bavarian_Chapel WestMinster. It looks like the name was Bagot, but her date of Birth could still be a questionmark. But I look to be closer

Yes I agree with that Andy esp in trying to find them in the 1851 Census before they married.

I presume you know Emma was born before the Marriage?
