Martin Wilkinson Souter

Looking nfor any info. on Martin Wilkinson Souter. He was born 1875 in Durham Sunderland,father Andrew mother Margaret. Married Caroline Platt in 1914. Other than that I know nothing. Any help gratefully received.

You don't mention his second marriage in 1933 or his death in 1952. So you haven't looked for him on Familysearch, Ancestry or FindMyPast?

Thanks for your reply.I did start looking for him on Ancestry but only got as far as looking on the census forms.  I will  investigate further today  I did actually put his name into family search but came up with nothing.  Will try again.

I got 5 hits for him on Familysearch - including two as executor of a will: Alice Banks in 1921 and William George Herbert in 1948.

I have just found that. also his marriage to Effie Harden in 1933. I will do some more investigating.  I am actually doing this for someone else who believes that Caroline Souter was her grandmother. I dont think she knew that Martin married again!

If you look on Ancestry there is a public tree that has lots of census records and the second marriage (but not the first one).
