Looking 4 parents/birth of Horace BECK b abt 1893 Newbold Verdon *COMPLETED*

According to the 1901 and 1911 census records Horace BECK was born about 1893 in Newbold Verdon.  In both 1901 and 1911 Horace is living with his uncle Ralph Tom STATHAM and aunt Matilda BECK [although Matilda is deceased by 1911].

I have not as yet located Horace's parents and FREE BDM do not have a Horace BECK born in Leicestershire [well not that I have located].

Any ideas?

No mother's maiden surname indexed so if this is him then his mother may be one of Matilda's sisters.

Do you think the birth certificate would provide his mother's name?

The England & Wales Births 1837-2006  on FindMyPast have mother's maiden name as BECK. So you are onto a good idea Debra.

There is a WW2 Service Record listed forThomas Horace Beck on Anc....Birth place listed as Leicester residence as Newbold Verdon.
