Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Tks Hallmark have tried this under both names no luck. I am thinking as John Byrne was in military maybe they married outside of Ireland. Also Rose died in 1948 age 31 with an address in Ballycotton Co Cork curious as to how she ended up here maybe local connections.

If the marriage was after about 1944, it won't be on irishgenealogy yet.

OP: I see you found the marriage you are after. But one niggling thing. If John Byrne was in the British army, and he died before the end of 1947, then he should be commemorated by the CWGC. I don't see him listed.
