« on: Saturday 20 July 19 11:05 BST (UK) »
I am needing a little bit of help trying to find William Hamilton,he was born 1918 in Harthill,Scotland and moved to Canada with his family, his parents were William Hamilton and Margaret Robertson Paterson.  I i have found out so far is that he married in Canada had a Daughter then got divorced.
I have found  his US Border Crossing Canada  to USA document, he arrived in 1953 and Died in Nevada i 1985, going by his border crossing doc is say that he has a son William Hamilton stay in in Calgary.  I believe he married in America  and had 3 daughters but after 10 years of reseach i have found nothing.   so i would really appreciate any help i can get to close this brick wall.

I don't think that's him on the 1940 cencus as he did not go to America until 1953.  The marriage to melba and not sure  as there is about 22 years age difference.  I know about his first marriage as I have spoken to Moria.  She said she did not know much about him except that he married and had a son and 3 daughters.

Hi Sandra, Arleen Lynn Walsh was the daughter of William Hamilton and Moria Eleanor Riley.  I spoke to Moria a fee yes back before she passed away.  She said that Arleen never got to know her father as they divorced shortly after her birth.  I started to do this research for Moira's granddaughter Dana Miller about 3 or 4 years ago as she wanted to know more about him. Unfortunately we just kept hitting brick walls.  I just fell that I need to complete what I had started in memory of Moira and Arleen.

Sorry I've found nothing positive - if nothing does materilize on here - there are a couple of RAOGK volunteers, one for Las Vegas Nevada who might be able to help - always worth an e-mail - perhaps feet on the ground could help.
