Sorry about that Sandra, I know about his siblings  I was trying to get more information on William when he came to America. It just that I could not find any thing else on him except what I had found.

But we would research and look at the siblings to see if any off the obituaries would mention or give a clue to William's whereabouts.

Have you checked to see if he is mentioned in any of the obituaries ?

I can see Margaret Paterson Rogers's - John Hamiton - brother was the informant.  It was also a cremation North Shore Crematorium - burial details are something else we check to see if there are family plots.

Hi Sandra,
He is not mentioned in any of there obituaries.  I can only assume that the family had nothing to do with him.

I can see he wasn't mention in the obituary of John Paterson Hamilton - neither is a nephew called William.

Intersting that John taught in California, which is where William first headed in 1953 wasn't it ?
Infact John was in Fullerton CA in 1980 when he was the informant on his sisters death certificate.

It did not notice that when i saw his sisters death cert.  I take it it not that far to where John Was and where William Was at the time of his death. I only have a extract of William death i can not seem to get a fulll death cert.

There wouldn't be a death certificate online for that time frame.

John resided in California from 13-9-1958 - had been resident for one half of the necessary 5 years for naturalization. Two other teachers called Brandt who were the witnesses on the affidavit. Known him sine 1-8- 1961
Petition granted 2 September 1966
