Munden from Dorset

Hello!

I'm stuck with John Munden's parents. He was born C. 1824 in Thorncombe, Dorset, England. 

According to his marriage doc to Elizabeth Marsh in 1849, he worked as a Mechanic and John's father was John Mundens, a Labourer.

There are a few John Munden b. C. 1824 on the 1841 Census.  Also, I have found a baptism dated 4 Jul 1824, at Thorncombe, Dorset, parents John and Ann Mundens.

Searching on Ancestry's records, I have located two parents: one John Mundens married to Ann Miller, and another one married to Ann Hitchcock.

If he was still alive, there's just one John Mundens, who works as Mechanic, on the 1841 Census, but he is married to a Sarah.  I guess his wife could have passed away, and he remarried, but there's no a son called John in the household.

On the '51 Census John gives his occpn. as "Foreman in a flour mill" (transcribed as "Farmer" on FindMyPast). His PoB in '51 and '61 is consistent.

Until 1844 Thorncombe was in Devon.

I can see on opcdorse that there's also a possible sister listed: Sarah MUNDEN, baptism dated 12-Mar-1826, daughter of John and Ann Munden, Labourer.

I was looking at other people's trees, to see what facts they have attached. Some have Ann Miller as the mother, while others have Ann Hitchcock, and unfortunately not enough facts to determine which one is the correct person.

I'm on it, to see if by any chance list the occupations of the John Mundens who married to a Miller and Hitchcock. I didn't know of that website before. I have been using just Ancestry, Family Search and Google searching.

Just found the transcription of the marriage of John Munden (son). His dad's occupation is listed as Mason, but on Marriage found on Ancestry it says Labourer:
