Using FreeBMD I can't get any results for children birth reg 1922 - 1934 anywhere in England/Wales with surname M*carthy mother's maiden name Ra*b*ry.

No McCarthy births mmn Raisbury in the UK.

Mabel E. McCarthy married William Burroughs Jun.qtr.1934 Stow (Suffolk).

2 Daughters both now deceased:

Jeanne Claire Burroughs born 1936 Elham, Kent died 2014 - married Kenneth C Barr 1958 Surrey North Eastern - 2 sons born 1959 and 1961.

Yvonne Jacqueline G. Burroughs born 27/10/1939 Surrey N.E. - married (1) an Allen Mar.1961 and (2) an Ashby in 1977 Peterborough.   She died 1992 Westminster. Daughter (1964) and 2 sons (1966 and 1972) from 1st marriage, one son from 2nd 1976.

Thank you so much for Annette for your information today. I only met my dad for the first time when I got married so to be honest I never got to know him or his past so every little piece of information helps me to find out his past, so thank you for your help. Best regards Gerry
