What era would this be?
Ideally, the event and a year.

Welcome to Rootschat

As Pauline says - you need to give more info to help trace him?
If he was born before 1911 - have you found him on any census?
Is he on the 1939 Register?

What does the initial H stand for?

When did he die?

Could you say how you got back to him, to save us duplicating information that you may already have?

Thanks

Ladies and Gentlemen - thank-you so much!
My apologies - I'm new to this!
All I know is that John H Gladstone gave his address as Harts Green, Sedlescombe in January 1959.

OK well it can’t be John Hall Gladstone then because he died in 1902.

What document/context are you referring to from 1959?
