Louisa Street Liverpool

My husbands father and grandparents lived at 43 Louisa Street in Liverpool in the 1920's to 1949.

I have tried the Liverpool records office and they do not hold any images of the street , just a picture of 1 house in isolation. My husband would dearly love to see an image of the street.

Does anyone have any old photographs that shows Louisa Street Liverpool that  they would be willing to share with me.

If one exists of Louisa Street he probably has it, but there are loads to plow through. That is a not an unpleasant task though.

does he remember the Mere Lane Social Club at the bottom of Louisa Street on Mere Lane ??  if so - see if that club is still going - it was refurbished about 15 years ago ...someone in the club might have snaps and - might even know your hubby - good luck

I have just looked on the Facebook group I had sent in an earlier post, there is a picture of Lousia Street 1968 it has about 5 houses with some comments from people.
