Help deciphering cause of death needed

Good morning, Can anyone decipher the "Cause of Death" on the attached, please? It is for Robert Lancaster who died at the age of 82 in 1873. It looks like "Sinusitis certified" to me, but I'm pretty sure that I'm wrong  ;D Many thanks Tilly x

It looks like senectus, which is Latin for old age.

Agree it is "senectus" and underneath it reads "certified"
