Newcastle cemetery records
« on: Sunday 28 July 19 19:39 BST (UK) »
Previously I've looked at Newcastle cemetery records (cemeteries NOT church graveyards) at TWAS. I've just seen on the NDFHS website that Newcastle City Library " Holds microfilms of cemetery records for Newcastle upon Tyne. "

Is that correct?

Yes, this is correct.  They are on microfilm.  However, they do not hold the records for burials for St James, Benwell but then again I suppose this would be classed as a Churchyard.

That is good news! So I'll be able to look at films at the City Library for all my Newcastle ancestors burials that aren't in the Woodhorn archives:-) For years I've thought they were only at TWAS!
