Hogsflesh
« on: Wednesday 31 July 19 15:13 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to find the link with a DNA match through the family name Hogsflesh.
I can trace my Hogsflesh line back to Thomas Hogsflesh (1723-1789) from Witley, Surrey, who married Ann Round (1722-1762). I have one child Thomas (1755-1803) born in Otford, Kent who had 2 wives (Elizabeth and Jane), did Thomas and Ann have any more children as I suspect the link is through another child.
If anyone has any information about the Hogsflesh family who moved from Witley to Otford I'd be very grateful.
Also, if anyone has any information about a Charles Hogsflesh - born in the UK who married Martha Thompson in Australia - I'd be very interested.

This is an old post, but if you are still looking into the Hogsflesh family, then yes, I do have some info about them.
I know that he was the son of Thomas Thomas Hogsflesh (1755-1803), and mentioned in his will as Richard Charles, and he was subsequently transported to Australia.
More info if you are still active
