Hi

Welcome to RootsChat.

It may be worth contacting the National Library of Wales. They have Welsh newspapers online and may have more info.

Just checked, some of the papers online start c1804.*

That said, * they wont have a copy of the inquest, it may still be worth enquiring at the library as they may have other sources.

Greetings, and a warm welcome to Rootschat.

Just to clarify - official records of coroners' inquests are not kept longer than 25 or 30 years (I forget the exact number!) - unless they have unusual historical significance or nobody has gotten round to destroying them.

The only surviving accounts may be in local newspapers of the time - as recommended by previous posters.  The only other possibility I can think of is if Sarah Watkins died due to an accident at work there might possibly be a note in the company files - but this would be a very long shot!
