I hoping you maybe able to help me with my family history? I sent a request for Joseph Hart as a new member and you were all very helpful.

I have found so far that Joseph Hart did marry Sarah Chatwin and his parents were William Hart who married Sarah Mason in 1754 Walsall Staffordshire England.

William Hart's parents are listed as Thomas and Ann Hart...I think Ann may have been Ann Mason who married Thomas Hart in 1754 St Peter Wolverhampton Staffordshire his Abode is Wednesfield and Ann's Abode is Compton Staffordshire.

I did find a record for Thomas Hart Baptism 12 Mar 1725/26 St Peter Church Wolverhampton but not positive this is my Thomas Hart.

William Hart is the only child I have been able to find to Thomas and Ann, which makes me think Ann may have died but I haven't to date been able to find any record of this death.

I found a marriage record for Thomas Hart widow marrying Jane Davison widow in St Peter Wolverhampton 1765 which may be my Thomas?

I found two children by this marriage Samuel born 1767 St Thomas Church Wednesfield and Elizabeth 29 Jan 1769 St Thomas Church Wednesfield Staffordshire England.

I wonder if this is Anne, noted as wife of Thomas?

Only Thomas marriage I can find in Staffordshire is to Ann Mason 1746 – 1756.

The marriage you mention, not impossible but what became of William in the meantime?

I haven’t been able to find any information on Thomas in that nine year period.

I notice that a Thomas & Jane had children baptised at Wednesfield : St Thomas :
Near Wolverhampton. There seem to be quite a few Hart’s in the area.

Samuel HART 17 Apr 1767, Elizabeth HART 29 Jan 1769

There are also baptisms at Darlaston for a Thomas & Jane 1771 –1780.
