Hi,

Can you help please?

There is a poem I stumbled across a couple of years ago called “These are the hands”, which I believe is attributed to Francis Reilly, an Irish man from County Cavan (1839-1918) in the 1900s. However, recently it has been brought to my attention that there is a poem titled “Blessing of the Hands” also referred to as “These are the hands”, which is said to be a revised version of the Francis Reilly's poem by Rev. Daniel L Harris, but most often is cited as Author Unknown.

Any help to clarify the origins and to see the original verse would be greatly appreciated.
