HARRIET HUBBARD BORN 1839 NORFOLK

I have just received a birth certificate for my great grandmother Harriet Hubbard born 27/09/ 1839 Norfolk  in the sub dist of Blofield.
Her father was Richard Hubbard Mother Harriet formerley Witlock. Residence looks like Woodbastwick ?
( hard to read). I have spent years searching for record.
The thing is all records I have state Harriet was born in Rainham Kent.?
Can anyone tell me did families travel from Kent to Norfolk for work at that time. Wouldn`t it have been too far ?? Any information Re: Woodbastick greatly appreciated.

Hi Victoria there is a Harriet born in Woodbastwick in about right time in the 1851 census but mother unmarried?

Hi Kris, Thanks for information. I have the birth certificate for Harriet Hubbard born 1839 Woodbastwick Norfolk. It gives her father`s name as Richard. I believe it is the one you found as I was wondering why the address was just Woodbastwick as given by her mother. I thought it may have been some kind of institution. All history I have of her says she was born in Rainham Kent. However the only information I found was in 1841 census in Upchurch Kent were a Harriot Hubbard aged 2years lived with her family Richard was her father but mother was Ann. Bit of a mystery if this is her??? Dont know what to think. This is the only birth record that the GRO could find in the register for Harriet father Richard. Thanks Again.
