Boarding school in Rothesay 1930s?

A friend's mother told her she had been a weekly boarder at a school in Rothesay in the mid-late 1930s.  However we can't find any reference to a boarding school there at that time, and are puzzled as to which school this could have been. Can anyone shed some light on this, please?

I think the school you are referring to was located at Ascog, about 2 miles from Rothesay.  The building still exists on the landward side of the coast road and I understand is now "Chandlers Hotel"

Further digging around has come up with the name Agnes Patrick school.  The BBC appears to have some archived material on it.
