Hi

Can anyone help me find a birth for Mary Boyle - DOB: 02.09.1927.

At some point she went to live in Manchester and gave birth to a daughter (Catherine Boyle) in February 1957, who was then baptised on the 13.03.1957 at St Thomas of Canterbury in Manchester.

Apart from this I don't have any other details.

It would be amazing if I could find any other details regarding her.

The only place you can search is FamilySearch index of births and that will only give you the quarter not the date, there will likely be quite a few results.

Once you have the details from familysearch, and as Sinann said there may be many possibles (you may also have to allow for unknown female Boyle as she may not have been named on registration), you can apply for photocopies of the entries using this form:

Click 'Document information'on the familysearch results to get the page number.

Rootschat has a 'no living persons' policy- are you sure they are both deceased? death certificates may be more clues.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
