The Innes McKay who died in 1927 left a will

The Scottish Calendar of Confirmations states : M'Kay Innes , Fisherman, 13 Buchan Street, Macduff , died 27, February 1927 ,at Macduff, testate. Confirmation Banff 4 April, to Margaret Ann Watson or McKay, 13 Buchan Street aforesaid, widow, Executrix. Will dated 28 January...Value of Estate £151:15:6.

Above suggests he wrote the will not long before his death.

William

Wow. That is fabulous information thank you so much. I've found Innes' family grave at Doune Kirk in Macduff he is not buried there. Also he is not with his widow Margaret Ann Watson in Whitehills Cemetery, as my Grandma & Grandad are in that grave.
We visit the family graves (from Manchester) every year but have never found my great-grandfather's. Yet....

MonicaL my mistake entirely. I'd not done any family research in a number of months and it was a complete oversight on my part.
Apologies.

No apologies needed, Jason  :) Like everyone here, just trying to make sure that we are adding new info rather than spending time going through previous searches.

Hope you find Innes McKay's burial details  ;)

Rosie99 yes that must be him. His parents were Andrew Innes McKay and Elsie West. I don't suppose you have a burial record or cause of death from that do you?
The family definitely lived on Crook o' Ness St, Macduff.
