Blacksmith's forge Shottery
« on: Monday 05 August 19 15:21 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find some information regarding the forge that was in Shottery- my friend's father and grandfather were the blacksmiths there.
We are trying to find any documentation that may help locate where it was.
The census for 1939 has the address as The Forge Shottery.
Would love to obtain any information and maybe some pictures/photos?
Thanks

Hi again, are you looking at the transcription of the family/household, it will be on the transciption not the original.

Looking at original on Ancestry?

Then hopefully the transcription on Ancestry for the family/household will show the OS map, I do not at present use Ancestry but FindMyPast.

So would I be correct, you got back to the transcription, but no OS Map?
Who is the Head of family and year of birth?
