Lindfield surname ,West Sussex

Hi,
I am researching my 4 x great grandparents George Godden and Frances Lindfield bc 1779.Although she appears in a census as born in Ditchling,Sussex., I cannot find a baptism for her. A possible family could be Edward Lindfield ,wife Ann unknown who were having a number of children in West Grinstead, as there are many repeated family names, but Frances doesn’t appear among their baptisms.
Any help finding Frances would be great. There is a recurrent name of Albourne (spelt various ways) running through subsequent generations as middle names, but I haven’t found an Albourne anywhere yet.

One small clue. A witness was another Frances Lindfield, it says "Niece to the above"!

Ditchling registers not filmed by the LDS. So other sources needed.

Thanks , She may have been born in Ditchling ,but baptised elsewhere I suppose.
I am stuck because I do not have the parents of Frances , the niece could be helpful, I will look into it.
