« on: Thursday 08 August 19 19:14 BST (UK) »
Hi, I'm new to RootsChat but have been researching for a number of years. I'm looking for a record that I think is a relative. The problem is it dates way back. Here is the information I'm looking for...any help would be appreciated.

Text:   Alexr. McConnell.
Book:   Mort Roll from 1781 in the Register House, Edinburgh. (Death)
Collection:   Wigtown and Kirkcudbright: - Parish Lists of Wigtownshire and Minnigaff, 1684

Try ScotlandsPlaces. There an Alexader McConnell listed on there, about the same time. Sorry, but can't  post a link.
Census information is Crown Copyright (see: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk)
