That's interesting because the one I think is mine is with the parents Alfred and Eliza Hoare, In 1911 was a railway fitter labourer and living in Brierley Hill(Stourbridge area).

There is also this one in Wolverhampton, although it only lists his initial F so may not be Frank.
F Skidmore on the Christ Church Roll Of Honour (WMR 52281) Tettenhall Woods, West Midlands.

Tettenhall Wood is an area of Wolverhampton.

Not really helpful though  :-\

I have checked the Parish marriage records and it isn't there so it is a registry office marriage so I am going to send for the certificate.

Alan

Perhaps it would be best to wait until Alan has receipt of the marriage cert before any more speculation,  :)

This Frank Skidmore may be worth further investigation, he is the 9 year old nephew to the head of the household who is a HAIRDRESSER, living 184 High Street, Dudley.  Maybe Frank learned his trade from Uncle Arthur.

1901
Arthur Randle, b. 1876 Stourbridge, Tobacconist and Hairdresser - own account
Esther Randle, wife, b. 1878 Brettell Lane (Dudley)
Violet Randle, daur. b. 1899 Dudley
Frank Skidmore, nephew, b. 1892 Stourbridge

RG13, Piece 2745, Folio: 7, Pg 5

The Randle family are in Brierley Hill in 1911, Arthur is still a hairdresser but Frank not with them.
