Brampton and Linstead Magna landlords and tenants in 1642

I recently completed transcripts of the 1642 military grant assessments from Brampton and Linstead Magna.

Brampton is not included in Vincent B. Redstone's copies of the surviving Ship-Money Returns for the County of Suffolk, 1639-40, in which 15 parishioners and 10 non-resident "outsitters" are listed under Linstead Magna.

The attached documents contain the names of 56 landowners or occupiers in 1642 for Brampton and 32 for Linstead Magna. Their surnames are indexed below.
