Hi Willsy, well I knew of a Ellen Biever/Beaver/Beever and I feel she was a 2nd marriage to John/Johann Biever, as a long time in the past I came across Ellen, she was then in a workhouse on the 1911 census, her death was around 1914? I was 99% sure Ellen was Johns 2nd wife, with your find the workhouse document re Mrs Woods step daughter and this being my Gt grandmother Hannah Sophia Beewer/Biever born 1863/4 mother Louisa Becker, known to the Woods family as Sophia Anna Woods, 1911 census 4 Eclipse road So the search is on now for Louisa`s death and the marriage of John and Ellen. Louisa and her daughters were in a workhouse around 1875? John was stated as being in prison, so Louisa must have died between 1875? and 1895?, where John would have married Ellen. well Willsy you have opened up a can of worms and looks like WE will be busy finding deaths and marriages.
