Higgins family in Bilston

Hello, I am looking for any info on the Higgins family from Bilston.

My Grandfather was Enoch Higgins.

I think the family lived at Gozzard Street at one point.

Hello, all I know is he was born in Bilston to William and Mary.

I would love to know of any Irish roots or if they were an established Bilston family.

Anything at all is most welcome, I started a search a few years ago but due to illness I had to stop.

The census I posted details of shows no sign of Irish places of birth.

The GRO index now allows you to search birth registrations which give mothers maiden surname, you just need to register . (It is on a bit of a go slow at the moment for me anyway)
