Thanks for the information you have provided.  I am struggling to find a marriage certificate for George and Margaret.  Any suggestions where I can look?

IF they Registered the Marriage this Search would find it regardless of where they Married..

I looked.... no sign of it!

Just in case his name had been mistranscribed  to Meeks for example..

I reversed the search to this..... still no sign of a Reg

I take it that George wasn't R.C.

Maybe they married in UK?
