https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/19627289?Mrs. John FORSYTHE, wife of Mr. John FORSYTHE, owner of the Pioneer Battery at Station Creek, died yesterday afternoon at her husband's residence (our Cloydon correspondent wired on Saturday). She had been ill only five days, and death resulted from sudden heart failure. She was 38 years of age, and leaves a husband and two children.
She was known all over the Gulf and North Queensland, and entertained lavishly Governors of Queensland or distinguished visitors coming to Croydon during the past 18 years. She was very charitable and generous, and her sudden death has caused deep regret.
