You will also find his baptism on the free site Family Search.

In addition - you may want to try Sheffield Indexers -- also a free site -- baptism is there as well. However he doesn't seem to have a middle initial of 'W'. We are not allowed to reproduce content from that. But the website is;

http://sheffieldindexers.com/index.html

His entry on Family Search is here;

Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

There are public trees on Ancestry that give the marriage details: "21 January 1845, Parish Church (Cathedral), Sheffield. " His father Thomas Gray. Her father John Bullos.

is there any information on ellen's father, john?
When and where he was born etc?

The public trees suggest that John Bullos was born in Sheffield circa 1793. A silversmith in 1841, a silver stamper in 1861.
