Just noticed this post.
I am also a direct descendant, but via the NZ branch. I have a fair bit of info for Australia. What I was looking for was any additional info from Skye especially siblings or parental info. It is generally too early for church records but my plans to search Armadale castle tenancy records came to nothing this year. Still too early to make travel plans for the future!
