If you want help you will have to give us more than that!

Names, dates, locations, children?, parents? census references? Occupation? Anything that might help with identification, but no details of living, or possibly living, people.

Thank you for replying.
My GG Grandfather William Lee Born 13 Jan 1817 Baptized Non-Conformist Tiviot Dale Chapel Heaton Norris. Lancashire, England.
His Father is James Lee, Born 8 Aug 1794 Baptized 22 Aug 1794 Tiviot Dale Chapel Heaton Norris, Lancashire, England.
His Father is John Lee and his mother was Mary.

My GG Grandfather came to Australia in 1840 on the "Argyleshire". His shipping list says Father James a Gardener and Elizabeth (Dec'd).  So I don't know when Elizabeth died, or when James dies after William Left for Australia.  This is all the information I have to hand.

Is there an occupation listed on the baptism register? Can you find a marriage of James Lee & an Elizabeth in the same parish ca 1805 onwards? Baptisms of other children which may have an occupation? What are your William's children's names?
Seeking: RC baptism Philip Murray Feb ish 1814 ? nr Chatham Kent.

Josey,
I thought marriages had to be in a Church of England or if it was another denomination they had to have a registrar as well.
The main parish church for Heaton Norris is what is needed, not the chapels.

Until you can confirm the marriage, specifically the date, and when James Lee and Elizabeth died (to establish their ca. birth years) I honestly don't see how you can know that the James bp'd.1794 is 'yours'.
