1939 register

is it  possible to search with an address only. I`m trying to find who was at 1 King Street ( or close enough)   in 1939, so far I`m not even finding the right area.

FindMyPast have that facility.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Even if you don't have membership you should be able to find out some info by entering the street name here.

Your findings should then be transferable to Ancestry.

Sadly due to the rules of the 1939 register we are not allowed to do look ups for you,but can guide you in the right direction  8)
