Appleby Marriage 1913
« on: Friday 23 August 19 19:13 BST (UK) »
Lincstothepast problems again. I have been doing so well with this website, but I just cannot get to Appelby marriages for 1913.

I emailed them with the problem and the replied with the system to use. On doing this, I get Alford marriages instead. So please help !

Adam Black married Lily Turner in 1913 at Appleby. I have the date as April 6th, but have lost my original notes on this. If possible I would also like the names of the witnesses.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, that was quick !

It was St Bartholomews Church. I`ve looked on Family Search and FreeReg, but they`re not there.
( I`m a bit puzzled as to why I haven`t still got my original notes )

The marriage reference is on - https://www.lincstothepast.com/Marriages/512803.record?pt=T
but no images.

Findmypast has images up to 1911. They are usually the same as LTP, so it is possible that images for 1913 are not yet available online.

Thanks David. I got that far, but disappointed to find no images !

In the book I`m using now I`ve listed the date as April 21st 1913, and not the 6th as I posted originally. Adam was aged 20, a bachelor and Lily was 22. Unfortunately, I haven`t noted the source/citation.

It`s years since I looked this up; I can`t even remember where, but it would have been either the archives or Scunthorpe library as I lived bewteen both.
