Sarah Masters
« on: Tuesday 27 August 19 19:08 BST (UK) »
Hello,

I’m new here and very excited! I’m looking for ancestors in Middlesex/London area.

Richard Jones and Sarah Brookes married 1789 in St. Giles,Middlesex , he was describe as an Esquire and she as a widow. I think she was Sarah Masters who married John Brookes 1780 in Middlesex , because the bride  was of the parish St Giles, Middlesex .

I’m looking for the baptism of Sarah Masters , she was born about 1761 (source 1841/51 census Surrey) maybe in Middlesex

Every help is much appreciated!

Hi ballydw,

I saw this baptism too but i’m not sure because of the distance between St Giles in London and Romford Essex

The distance is 15 miles, so she is a possible candidate.

Welcome to rootschat.

Is this linked to Richard Jones who was living in Chertsey https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=796508.

Just checking as I seem to remember looking at the marriage before
