Hi Alan

When you say in this parish do you mean Stansfield or Hunsdon. Also may I ask if there are any burial records for a william Cooper in either parish which might indicate how old my William was when he died. Many thanks for your help.

Kind Regards

David

Hi,

The entry  of a birth in 1724 but baptism over 100 years later (Anc..y), I addressed in reply #4 below.

The bapt. in 1694 is for Hundon All Saints only.

I also looked for a burial of William Cooper in both Stansfield & Hundon but could not see any relevant entries amongst the many "Cooper" burials.

I had another look for William Cooper's baptism in both Stansfield & Hundon and only found the one in 1694 I posted earlier.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Alan

The only other info is that Elizabeth was of "Chimney Mills".

Chimney Mills, an extra-parochial area of 20 acres to the village of West Stow (Blackbourne Hundred) In 1855 there was a mill on the river and a house with seven occupants.

The land adjoins the extensive grounds of Culford Hall.
