His father, Dafydd William Sion, was a well known character in LLanwrtyd, a very spiritual man [bit of a free translation - literally a remarkable man in prayer]  One mighty event took place in Y Bont when Dafydd William Sion started the meeting before the preachers. The son, like the father, was a great man in prayer

Hello Mabel!

Marvellous!

Just the information I was looking for!
There were two Ebenezer Williams born in Breconshire in 1810..
This one, born in Llanwyrtyd, became a minister of the Gospel and died in Wales, the other Ebenezer Williams (a zealous Calvinistic Methodist) was baptised in Devynnock and emigrated to Ohio!
I have been researching both of the Ebenezer's ancestries and this data is very helpful

I really appreciate your help!
Thanks

Had you checked Welsh Journals?  http://journals.library.wales/search/advanced

"dafydd william sion" (include "  " as part of search key) in Keyword Search returns 1 hit - an Obit (In English!!)
