Do you have anywhere in mind, more specific than "Staffordshire"?  Are you looking for anyone in particular, and can we assume that they are all deceased?

FreeBMD offers a fairly large number of entries for the surname Humpherson in Staffordshire.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

There are lots, I just put the surname in Family Search. It's free you just have to register.

Sorry, but for some reason or other, I was unable to post a reply.

I do not know anyone in Staffordshire.  I believe my Humpherson line is running our, but my thoughts were that there might be a living Humpherson who too are interested in their Humpherson roots

An e-mail friend sent me a list of Humphersons' out of the telephone Directory.  I sent a letter off to each and everyone.  I received a reply to one of my letters, but they came from Scotland and was not aware of Humphersons' elsewhere.  This is what started me on this route.

Your opening post asks specifically about Humphersons in Staffs and you have posted on the Staffs board so can you tell us why Staffs?

The 1911 census has 34 entries for that surname and the 1939 register has 24 entries in Staffs but if you are looking for living people with that surname we cannot help as Rootschat has a no living persons policy
