Thank you for looking Trish.  I've not found Robert and Elizabeth on the 1841 census either.  Perhaps Robert was at sea and Elizabeth is very badly indexed, or in Scotland.

I think this could be Elizabeth's baptism on the BTs - Norham parish.

It says West Newbiggen on the BT.  I'm wondering whether Norham parish went all the way down to Newbiggen-by-Sea or this is somewhere else, because that's quite some distance  from Norham.

East and West Newbiggin are listed on the Northumberland farm index as being places in Norham/Norham Mains.

I looked at the marriage entry but the only information not provided by Janis from her transcription is that they were both 'of this parish'.

Also interesting for the time is that both signed rather than made a mark.
