Kitchingham - Jersey

I’m researching a family tree and I’ve hit a brick wall regarding a Thomas Edward Kitchingham, born in London in 1926.  He was living in London until the 1950’s, then he disappeared.

There’s a (likely?) death of a Mr Thomas Kitchingham in Jersey in 1999, but all I can find is the record so I can’t be sure he’s the ‘right’ Thomas (who was also known as Teddy or Edward).

Does anyone know anything about Teddy?
