The Scottish Genealogy Society's first talk on our Syllabus after the summer recess will be “The History of the Incorporation of Candlemakers of Edinburgh” by Richard Torrance. As usual the talk will take place at the Augustine United Church Centre at 41 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh on Monday 16 September and starts at 7.30pm. Non-members are welcome to come along for a small donation. (Tea, coffee & biscuits served afterwards.)
